Sounds like a fun YA mystery or fantasy title, doesn’t it? You can almost see the cover: a heroine like Hermione Granger or Nancy Drew investigating a spooky corridor with sidekicks like Harry Potter or Percy Jackson.
Actually no - it’s much scarier than that.
Tulsi Gabbard is the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) - the former Democratic representative who, after a long journey through various political identities, found a new home in the MAGA movement. What exactly is a DNI? If you had to look it up, you’re not alone. The official description is:
“The Director of National Intelligence serves as the head of the U.S. Intelligence Community, overseeing and directing the implementation of the National Intelligence Program and acting as the principal advisor to the President, the National Security Council, and the Homeland Security Council for intelligence matters related to national security.”
The role was created in 2004 to fix the coordination failures exposed by 9/11. It’s an oversight position meant to keep our sixteen different intelligence agencies talking to each other. It is not meant to be a field office for domestic political theater.
And the Ministry of Truth?
Our readers will recall that that is where Winston Smith works in Orwell’s famous dystopian novel 1984. We’ve already explored Winston’s job a bit - how evidence of inconvenient historical facts are incinerated in the Memory Hole. But the stuff that goes in the incinerator usually needs to be replaced with new facts, “alternative facts” if you will. All this is part of the machinery of Big Brother: “Who controls the past controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.”
The Trump Ministry of Truth in Action:
January 2, 2021: Donald Trump calls Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and asks him to “find 11,780 votes.” Raffensperger, apparently possessing an inconvenient amount of integrity, records the call.
January 6, 2021: Congress meets to certify the election; Trump tells his people to “fight like hell;” Congress is attacked, Capitol police beaten and pepper sprayed; and it’s all on video. In the immediate aftermath, leaders from both parties vocally condemned it as a violent insurrection.
January 20, 2025: On day one of his second term, Trump issues blanket pardons for nearly 1,600 “J6” defendants. The “violent insurrection” is officially rebranded. The new White House website now describes the day as a “Date Which Will Live in Infamy” - not because of the riot, but because of the “weaponized” prosecution of “patriotic protesters.”
Late January 2025: The DOJ’s searchable database of January 6th cases vanishes from the internet. Thousands of government web pages and datasets are “archived” or deleted to comply with new directives. If you can’t find the data, did the event even happen?
Clearly, someone in the White House has studied 1984 carefully.
The Fulton County Raid
Now this year, on January 28, the FBI rolled into Fulton County, Georgia to seize ballots that have already been counted, recounted, and certified more times than a classic rock reunion tour.
And there was Tulsi—the overseer of National (read: foreign) Intelligence—overseeing a local ballot seizure. She says she’s there because Trump asked her to go. And then she puts the President on the phone with the agents. Keep in mind that, since the inauguration, tens of thousands of government employees have departed under pressure. Within the FBI specifically, the administration ordered the firing of top executives and has targeted personnel who worked on Jan. 6th investigations.
While the administration claims the President was just “thanking them for their professionalism,” we have to ask: What message did those rank-and-file agents in Georgia receive when the Commander-in-Chief calls while they are seizing evidence he finds “inconvenient”? He says he was just saying “thanks,” but when the boss calls while you’re seizing evidence he dislikes...
Well, what believable chain of custody can now exist? What happens when some claim of “new” evidence miraculously matches the old demand?
Given Tulsi’s activity, it seems the DNI has officially moved into the Ministry of Truth. When the person in charge of “National Intelligence” is busy reinvestigating a five-year-old local election, the goal isn’t security. It’s the Memory Hole.

Indeed, the Ministry of Truth is 1984 in action. As truthful as Trump's Truth Social.
Very interesting and suspicious. thank you
